Rome Travel Experience

Monday, March 30th, 2009

There is no comparison between traveling as a family and traveling one-to-one with a child. It is rare opportunity we seldom give ourselves.  Two of  my favorite traveling memories are traveling with my fourteen year old cousin at the Rome vacation rentals. Years later, traveling with  my brother when he was fifteen. I like the age of fourteen and fifteen. As my cousin explained, I’m still young enough to not be embarrassed to ask questions, and old enough to remember the answers”, AT this age, children are used to teachers and pay attention to docents or tour leaders as the points of interest are explained. Of course, they’re not always interested in what you want them to like.

My brother remember the man shouting, Caffe Caldo” at intermission much more clearly that he remembers the opera Aida at the Caracalla Baths in Rome. I remember my excitement and nervousness, as he sat on the age of the fountain, at night, watching the cars race by this busy intersection Rome. And they questioned about how the vacation done, they always answered, the best vacation I ever had. The place is really so good and the room is nice and very pleasant too. The way I describe it. It is truly unforgettable vacation experience.
