District 107 has White Rock Lake as its centerpiece with Skillman on the west, Forest Hills on the south, LBJ on the east, and southern Lake Highlands on the north. District 107 covers four school districts. They are Dallas ISD, Garland ISD, Mesquite ISD, and Richardson ISD.

District 107 boasts a variety of activities for its residents of all ages. Some favorites are the Dallas Arboretum, White Rock Lake, Flag Pole Hill and Samuell-Grand Park.

Dallas Arboretum

The Dallas Arboretum & Botanical Society opened its gardens to the public for the first time in 1984 but they were around long before that. The Dallas Arboretum is considered one of the finest show gardens in the Southwest.

White Rock Lake

White Rock Lake is minutes from downtown Dallas and filled with activities for the whole family such as fishing, walking, biking, picnicking, sightseeing, bird watching, or sailing. White Rock Lake was constructed in 1911 as Dallas' first water reservoir. To date there are nine primary tributaries with the primary being White Rock Creek.

Flag Pole Hill

Flag Pole Hill received its name in 1936 when the Civilian Conservation Corps built the scenic overlook atop what they called Doran's Point. The Civilian Conservation Corps also built a picnic pavilion, restrooms and the present Athletic Club.

W.W. Samuell Grand Park

The park was donated to the City of Dallas by W.W. Samuell in the early 1920s.

Today it includes a tennis center, two golf courses and practice facility, softball fields, outdoor amphitheater, swimming pool, recreation facility with a full gymnasium, picnic grounds, playgrounds, and landscaped areas with a walking track. Samuell-Grand Park is the home of the Shakespeare Dallas' summer Shakespeare in the Park.
